Combat Tag

The Combat Tag system is designed to prevent unfair escapes and ensure fair player-versus-player (PvP) interactions on Prime Vanilla.

What is Combat Tag?

When you engage in PvP (by hitting or being hit by another player), you are combat tagged for 20 seconds. While you are combat tagged, several restrictions are enforced to prevent you from escaping or avoiding combat unfairly.

Restrictions While Combat Tagged

  • Teleportation Disabled:
All commands that teleport you or another player (such as /spawn, /home, /tpa, /tpahere, etc.) are disabled while you are tagged.
You also cannot accept teleport requests from other players (for example, you cannot use /tpaccept while tagged).

  • Riptide Tridents & Elytra Disabled:
You cannot use Riptide tridents or elytra to fly or escape while combat tagged.

  • No Entering Safe Zones:
You cannot enter spawn (the only PvP-disabled area) while you are combat tagged. Attempting to do so will be blocked.

  • Logging Out is Fatal:
If you log out or disconnect while combat tagged, you will die and drop your items as if you were killed in combat.

How Long Does the Tag Last?

  • Your combat tag remains active for 20 seconds after your most recent PvP action.
  • Engaging in PvP again during this period will reset the 20-second timer.

Why Does This Exist?

Combat Tag exists to keep PvP fair and prevent players from escaping fights by teleporting, flying away, or logging out. Always be prepared before engaging in PvP!
